Changing your site after launch

There are two easy ways to keep your website up to date, and you can use whichever suits the moment. Neither needs any technical knowledge.

In the admin panel

The admin panel is where your everyday content lives: your business information, opening hours, photos, news and pages. Open the section you want, make the change, save it. That is the whole procedure — we walk you through it in your personal training session.

Or just tell EasyAI

Rather not look for the right page? Tell EasyAI, the assistant built into your website, what you need, the way you would tell a colleague:

  • "We're closed December 25 and 26."
  • "Update our Saturday hours: 10 until 4."

It works out what the request means and updates the right parts of your website — your hours, an announcement, a news post. You don't need to know where any setting lives.

Requests are unlimited on the monthly plan, so there is no reason to save changes up.

Be specific

EasyAI does what you say, so say exactly what you mean. "Today", "3 PM" and "the Coquitlam store" leave nothing to guess; "we're closing early sometime this week" does.

If you have more than one location, name it. If a change is temporary, say when it ends.

If something is not right

Change it back in the admin panel, or tell EasyAI what to fix. Your website is also backed up every day, so nothing is ever lost for good.

When to ask a person

If a change involves the layout, a new section, or anything you would describe as "moving things around" — or you simply aren't sure — open a ticket and a real person will help.
